Stripped Away ( The Escapade, book 2 – small town contemporary romance/suspense) – Coming in August!
HE DOESN’T RECOGNIZE HIMSELF
David Moorehouse has spent his life hiding behind masks. Nice guy. Best friend. Reverend’s kid. After finding his father dead on the floor, he’s been stripped of his job at the family church and his identity as the quiet, nice guy. The life he knew is over, and he doesn’t know what to do next.
HE KNOWS ANGER BETTER THAN ANYONE
Ricky Slade is itching for a fight. By the time he meets David, he’s struggling to save his business, his best friend, his drug-addict brother, and his own sanity. He’s got no patience for his business partner’s judgmental sibling showing up and getting in his face.
Their furious heat turns into a fiery inferno, but Ricky’s fresh off a bad breakup, and David is getting guilt-tripped by his family and his ex. Every time they fight, they fall into bed, but will that be enough when things around them come apart?
Be advised, this book contains: two grown men with big egos and bigger trucks, more emotional baggage than they can carry, and a whole lot of sizzling man on man action.
Stripped Clean ( The Escapade, book 1 – small town contemporary romance)
Carlos O’Shea is stuck. He knocked up a girl in college after a night of too much drinking and then married her to be honorable. With little money, fewer options, and no degree, he winds up cleaning the floors in a small town gentlemen’s club and thinking desperate thoughts about the handsome owner that’ll lead to nothing but trouble.
Greg Moorehouse only invested in a nudie bar to help his best buddy out of a financial crisis. Now his drug-dealing ex-boyfriend, his reverend father, and a parade of surgically-enhanced DDs are driving him insane. But what’s really stripped him of all good sense is his growing obsession with his married employee, Carlos.
They circle each other in a push-pull of misunderstandings and growing attraction. Carlos needs to get his boss out of his head, and Greg can’t abide cheaters and married men. So what are a strip club owner and the guy who cleans going to do with their undeniable desires?
Be advised: Contains angsty dark moments, explicit love-making between two hot-blooded men, and cupcake-baking exotic dancers.
Evan Stanton is in over his head. Injured from a fall on campus, he’s let his boyfriend talk him into a senior year total immersion trip—two weeks abroad—only his boyfriend ends up dumping him shortly before takeoff. Evan gets on the plane anyway, but he’s lost his hope and added to his pain.
Chris Bale decided to spend his senior year of college clearing his head after breaking up with the girl he’s dated since high school. He finds himself on a flight to Istanbul next to a surly kid with piercings and guyliner who couldn’t be more his opposite. They strike up a friendship anyway, and as they make their way across a foreign land, Bale realizes he’s too immersed in Evan to let go.

After a heart-pounding brush with danger on Valentine’s Day, Caleb runs into a handsome stranger and decides to roll the dice on a one-night-stand. Things don’t work out the way anyone intended when Caleb gets sick. He wakes up alone the next day, extremely confused and utterly embarrassed.
Angelo is an insomniac vampire who leads a solitary existence. Once a year he comes out of hiding—each Valentine’s Day—to soothe one lonely human soul while drinking the blood he needs to survive.

What the reviewers are saying:
“Very highly recommended…Ellis Carrington delivers a wonderfully imagined riff on the classic vampire tale, with an unexpected sweetly-delivered Valentine’s Day surprise…” — Tom Webb, A Bear on Books
“Ms. Carrington’s vampire world has its own canon and she is able to make her characters abide by those rules. The HEA that Angelo and Caleb achieve is very satisfying and emotional.” — Mrs. Condit Reads Books
Wolves and vampires have been at odds for centuries, and against his better judgment Neiran takes Andrei home to heal his
wounds, even allowing the vampire to drink Neiran’s blood to mend. But when Neiran wakes in the morning to find the vampire gone from his bed, he is stunned at the depths of his disappointment. Note: This story appears in the Grand Adventures anthology, and all proceeds go to help Eric Arvin and TJ Klune with expenses and medical bills resulting from Eric’s recent illness.
Feeling Neighborly (Gay Romance/Contemporary/Standalone Short)–Teagan Matthews is thrilled to discover his new townhouse comes complete with a sexy new neighbor, but plans go south when Teagan realizes that Matt has a child. While that’s normally a dealbreaker for
Teagan, his conviction wavers when he and Matt have a run-in that turns hot and steamy. After a sweaty one-night stand, Teagan and Matt agree to be just friends…with benefits. Over time, hanging out turns into occasional dinners that kind of seem like dates, and soon friends-with-benefits is starting to feel an awful lot like… a relationship. Flash Fiction at Cafe Risque – I blog most Sundays at Cafe Risque, sometimes flash fiction if I have time (usually stories that are around 1000 words or so in length), to keep my gears oiled between projects. The other fabulous authors over there are Cardeno C, Mary Calmes, BG Thomas, TC Blue, and Kiernan Kelly. Stop by and say hi. (hint: the first link goes to just the stuff with the flash fiction tag)
It Was Supposed to be a Fun Game – Part of Thousand Word Thursday over at Cryselle’s Bookshelf, this is a sweet contemporary flash fiction (1000 words) piece I wrote inspired by a shirtless football picture that Cryselle posted on her site.
Boxer Falls, A Gaytime Drama – Boxer Falls is a serialized short fiction soap opera, originally penned by a group of writers for the M/M romance group at Goodreads. Emphasizing high camp and intense sexiness, this “gaytime drama” focuses on a cast of characters in a small resort community as it gains a reputation as a homo hot spot for the discerning traveler. A collaborative effort started by Damon Suede, Poppy Dennison and myself, later on Brita Addams joined the crew. This weekly serial story done in the theme of a gay soap opera ran for a year, fifty-two episodes, and we had a total blast. Boxer Falls came to a close at the end of 2012 and an explosive season finale. The archives have been moved to BoxerFalls.com and you can view all he past episodes there, four of which were written by yours truly. I had the pleasure of editing and HTML coding many others, and garnered some fantastic friendships along the way. It was a time-consuming project but one I would not have traded for the world. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us in Boxer Falls.
