The Escapade Mini Bundle

If you haven’t yet checked out Stripped Clean and Stripped Away, you might consider checking this out: both books are currently available in a convenient mini-bundle, slightly cheaper than buying them both separately. Right now the bundle is only available at Amazon, but if it seems like there’s demand to make it available at other vendors I may do that.

Right now, you can buy it here.

New Release: Stripped Away

FB Quote 2

Stripped Away, book two in The Escapade series, is out today. I love this story, and it was an emotional one for me to write. If you enjoyed Stripped Clean, I hope you’ll also love reading about Greg’s brother finding himself and finding a happy ending.

About Stripped Away:

David Moorehouse has spent his life hiding behind masks. Nice guy. Best friend. Reverend’s kid. After finding his father dead on the floor, he’s been stripped of his job at the family church and his identity as the quiet, nice guy. The life he knew is over, and he doesn’t know what to do next.

Ricky Slade is itching for a fight. By the time he meets David, he’s struggling to save his business, his best friend, his drug-addict brother, and his own sanity. He’s got no patience for his business partner’s judgmental sibling showing up and getting in his face.

Their furious heat turns into a fiery inferno, but Ricky’s fresh off a bad breakup, and David is getting guilt-tripped by his family and his ex. Every time they fight, they fall into bed, but will that be enough when things around them come apart?

Be advised, this book contains: two men with big egos and bigger trucks, more emotional baggage than they can carry, and a whole lot of man on man action.

There were reasons to back down. Ricky couldn’t think of one right then. Everything had narrowed down to the hard bulge pressed against his thigh and Church Boy’s pupils gone wide in the orange light of that Exit sign up above.
When he came to his awareness next, his fingers had found their way into short, brown hair that was a touch wavy and way softer than it looked. Ricky froze for a moment when Dave’s body did too, and he was a fraction from giving them both an excuse to retreat when full, wide lips pushed against his.

Wasn’t so much kissing as it was two mouths trying to show each other who was boss. Ricky loved that shit. With one hand on either of Dave’s shoulders, he shoved forward. Boot scrapes and fingernails on wood paneling echoed in the empty club.

Dave’s back hit the wall with a grunt that got muffled inside of Ricky’s open mouth. Their tongues slid together, and Ricky couldn’t hold back his groan of satisfaction or the upward thrust of his hips.

Goddamn. He hadn’t kissed a man in so fucking long it made his soul ache.

After a few grasps at Ricky’s shirt Dave managed to get skin on skin, and fuck… that thing about kissing went right out the window. Dave’s large hands had long, blunt fingers and there they went burnin’ a trail straight for Ricky’s nipples. “Hell yeah,” Ricky murmured against Dave’s lips.

“I want you,” Dave answered. His body threw off heat and frenzied need. Under the orange of that Exit sign, demons
and desperation flashed in the man’s eyes. Ricky found himself wanting to know more about what lurked in Church
Boy’s dark side. Wanting to bring it out. Make it scream his name.

Happy Earth Day, and happy reading! 😉

Andrew Grey

Andrew Grey gave me this photo, from one of his exotic vacations I think. I’ve got six inches of snow in my driveway. I’m gonna just pretend I’m here, right now.

I suck a great deal at updating, so sorry. I get busy, I forget to do things like feed myself, the cat, the blog. The Facebook page! The kids, they can rummage through the cabinets, thank God.

So to give you a quick update – people have been sick, snow has happened, lather, rinse, repeat. I drank some coffee. The zombie apocalypse has yet to happen.

I updated/ am writing two unplanned short stories, so that’s largely why I’ve been busy. One of them is a new lengthened version of Under the Full Moon for an anthology to help Eric Arvin and TJ Klune. They’ve been through a lot and will probably have more struggles, so I wish them all the love and luck they can come by. Especially Eric, who I know has struggled with his health, surgery, etc, and I know it’ll be hard for TJ to have to be away from him. So the old free version of Under the Full Moon will be coming down from this site and from Goodreads soon and I hope you’ll buy the anthology to support Eric and TJ. Also, I’m working on a novella about two college guys who fall in love on a study abroad trip, because Mary Calmes told me to. I love Mary, and usually I listen to her.

So all of that was a break from finishing the sequel to Stripped Clean and I need to get back on that shortly, as well as a very important standalone project that I promised someone. I started on it a year ago and had to stop due to deadlines, and then things got logjammed. I’m looking for the time and space to do the story justice and hope to have it soon. Cross your fingers for me.

Big hugs, everyone.

Humpday Wrapup!

Stripped Clean is now available in print! *tosses glitter* You have one more day to win a copy from Read-Love-Blog, and you can also order it from Amazon.

Rhys Ford is doing a giveaway of all three of her Dirty Kiss books over at The Novel Approach, too. So you should probably head over and check that shit out. There’s a free shirt, and that’s practically better than porn, right?

Congrats to my Riley Hart for hitting #1 on Amazon’s gay romance bestseller list with her debut adult gay contemporary novel, Collide! I was honored to have the pleasure of beta reading Collide, and am so thrilled to see everybody loving it as much as I did.

I am working on Ricky’s story, Stripped Away, and that’ll be out in the spring I think. Many thanks to everybody who has asked. I’m also working on another standalone contemporary that I promised to someone, and I’m hoping I can make that happen sooner than later. There’s also a sequel in the distance for Forbidden Love for those who have asked, it has just turned out to be more difficult than I thought. As for a sequel to Yes, Sir? That was originally supposed to be a standalone short, but I’ve considered the idea off and on since 2011 when I wrote the original draft of the story. I’m not ruling out the idea of a companion novel, but I want to be sure I can do Nate and Gray justice first.

Meanwhile, there’s that holiday stuff and…whatnot. I get to see a hot, hairy man in a kilt for Thanksgiving. I’m super psyched. Anybody else doing anything festive?

A Couple of Quick Updates

So just a couple of updates:  Today will be the last day for the Government shutdown ebook giveaway (or as Tiffany Reisz so cleverly called it, #smutdown). If you’re a furloughed fed in need of some gay romance to read, shoot me an email before midnight EST (10/13) with your desired ebook reading format and I will send you some angsty manlove in return. Thanks to everybody who joined in, and I hope we all get our government back in working order ASAP.

STRIPPED CLEAN is live today on Amazon and ARe (B&N, and iBooks take a little longer but should have it shortly – at the moment, most of my books aren’t going be available on Kobo because a few peddlers of erotica with questionable content went and ruined that party for all of us).

ANYHOO – I love every book I’ve written, but this story is extra special and I really adore these two heroes so I hope you check it out. And I hope you fall in love with them like I have.

About Stripped Clean:

Carlos O’Shea is stuck. He knocked up a girl in college after a night of too much drinking, and then married her to be honorable. With little money, fewer options, and no degree, he winds up cleaning the floors in a small town gentlemen’s club and thinking desperate thoughts about the handsome owner that’ll lead to nothing but trouble.

Greg Moorehouse only invested in a nudie bar to help his best buddy out of a financial crisis. Now his drug-dealing ex-boyfriend, his reverend father, and a parade of surgically enhanced DDs’ are driving him insane. But what’s really stripped him of all good sense is his growing obsession with his married employee, Carlos.

They circle each other in a push-pull of misunderstandings and growing attraction. Carlos needs to get his boss out of his head, and Greg can’t abide cheaters and married men. So what are a strip-club owner and the guy who cleans for him going to do with their undeniable desires?

Please note: This is an adult gay romance, for mature readers only. Contains explicit love-making between two hot-blooded men, angsty dark moments, and cupcake-baking exotic dancers

Oh, and have a great time at GayRomLit if you’re going. Hope to see you there next time!

Happy Sunday. Love, Ellis
